HAL Trainee Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant notified discipline from a recognised university or institution. The engineering branch shown in the qualification certificate must correspond to the discipline for which the candidate applies.
General, OBC-NCL and EWS
Candidates should generally have at least 70% aggregate marks in the qualifying engineering degree.
SC, ST and PwBD
Candidates belonging to SC, ST or eligible PwBD categories should generally have at least 60% aggregate marks.

HAL Management and Design Trainee Salary
Selected candidates will undergo training according to HAL’s prescribed programme. During training, candidates are expected to receive a stipend equivalent to the starting basic pay of the Grade-II scale. After successful completion of training, they may be absorbed as Engineers or Officers in the applicable grade.

Training Period
Selected candidates will undergo institutional and on-the-job training according to the programme determined by HAL.
Absorption

Transfer Liability
